Established in 1941, Coborn Engineering has been the industry leader in manufacturing and supplying machines for the diamond tooling industry and have clients all over the world!
Coborn had decided they wanted to rebrand and launch a new website. This meant that they were looking at a redesign of the logos, content as well as new videos promoting machines and an overarching video of the company. In regards to the new website, it needed to be user-friendly with a clear call to actions. This would enable them to show off their products and services to their global audience.
We were required to develop the new website using the designs created by Vivid Creative (a design agency based in Sheffield). As well as this we also needed to produce content for the website in the form of media. This included videos for machines, interviews, cutaways of the factory to be made into an overarching video as well as photographs taken. We then needed to produce the final videos.
Coborn has worked with Respondit since January 2017. David and his team are attentive, agile and flexible in their approach to the original brief and subsequent execution. Working collaboratively, we look forward to continuing to developing this relationship.

For the video production, Respondit came up with a number of concepts with a number of concepts for the machine videos which were then storyboarded. These were then presented to both Coborn and Vivid in which feedback was given. We then revised the idea and sent these back to the client which were approved, ready for shooting when the machines were available.
The final concept for the machine videos was to follow a similar concept used in tech and car commercials in the sense of how they show the product and the format of the videos. The idea is to show extreme close-ups of the machine so you can see the details of the machine and also graphics which would tell you more about the machine (these would then be translated for multiple languages for the different regions Coborn serves).
