Havering Business Awards – Winners
On Thursday the 8th of February, the Respondit team attended the Havering Business Awards. Managing Director David Hodder and Digital Marketer Ryan Barlow were nominated as finalists for the Havering Business Person of the Year and Apprentice of the Year respectively.
To be finalists for the much coveted and highly competitive categories is a great honour for the business. We are delighted to announce both won their individual categories.
The night was a very glamorous event, well hosted by Havering Council and was for a chance for everyone at Respondit to dust off their best dress or tuxedo and look sharp. Here’s the team at this year’s event.
The first award of the night was the Apprentice of the year award, which Ryan Barlow picked up and was delighted with his success: “I’m still smiling from winning the award and the feeling is immense. Being up against two tough finalist’s, I couldn’t have asked for a better night and fantastic team who have helped me to win Apprentice of the year. One night I will never forget that’s for sure.”
Ryan beat competition from Havering Council and Cumberland Group for the Apprentice of the Year Award. Well done Ryan.
Next up for Respondit, was MD David Hodder, who also had some extremely tough competition going up against Security Projects UK Ltd and Havering Beauty Academy. Topping Respondit’s night David won Havering Businessperson of the Year, collected his award and gave a speech which was met by fantastic applause.
“I am so chuffed to have been awarded Havering Business Person of the Year. To be recognised for the hard work that myself and the team put in is incredibly heartwarming. I’d like to thank the entire Respondit team, especially the two directors Richard Sansford and Richard Ross”.
A big well done to all of the other winners and finalists, and a massive thank you to Havering Council, the event sponsors and the CEME centre for such a well run evening.
